After connecting on Season 7 of Bachelor in Paradise, Abigail Heringer and Noah Erb are engaged. Heringer, who has a career as a client financial manager, and Erb, who works as a travel nurse, crossed paths on the seventh season of Bachelor in Paradise, which debuted in August 2021. Despite being dubbed "Most Likely to Live Happily Ever After" during the show's "Prom Night" episode, their relationship took a turn before the "Fantasy Suites" phase, leading them to depart Mexico separately. Following the season's conclusion, they revealed their reunion, using Instagram to show their romantic milestones and shared moments over the past couple years.
Originally from Tulsa, Oklahoma, Erb proposed to Heringer early in the evening at a beachfront residence in La Jolla, San Diego, presenting her with a 4-carat oval-cut diamond engagement ring. The house was decorated with numerous red and pink roses, along with scattered rose petals, with a scenic view of the beach in the background. Close friends were there to join their celebration. Erb explained that two of their friends, one who is a photographer and one who is a videographer, respectively, helped to capture the moment. Erb shared that the proposal's timeline was actually moved up by a month due to Heringer's decision to expedite their move to Oklahoma. This decision came about after she unexpectedly rescued a dog two weeks earlier. Hailing from Oregon, Heringer remained unsuspecting despite a change in plans, believing that Erb was playing pickleball with a friend and then inviting her to join him for a sunset at his friend's house. Heringer had no idea what was on the horizon until she saw a display of roses and candles on the rooftop overlooking the ocean. Erb recounted that she was moved to tears at the sight of the roses, and both swelled with emotion during his speech while gazing at the sunset.
In July, Heringer disclosed that she had bought a house near Erb's family in Tulsa after having previously lived in a rental home in San Diego. Heringer has revealed that due to California’s high cost of living, she and Erb have decided to relocate to Oklahoma, explaining that the type of house they wanted would cost two to three times more in the golden state. Erb first appeared as a contestant on season 16 of The Bachelorette. Heringer, who made history as the first deaf contestant within the reality show franchise, appeared on season 25 of The Bachelor.
According to Heringer, her engagement ring was everything she was hoping for. Designed by Erb, her ring features a 4-carat oval-shaped, lab-grown diamond mounted on a 14-karat white gold pavé diamond-set band with a hidden diamond halo.
