‘Underworld’ Film Director Len Wiseman is Engaged to Comedian and Actress CJ Franco

Director Len Wiseman and his longtime partner, C.J. Franco, known for her role on HBO Max's reality series, Fboy Island, have revealed their engagement news, announcing that they became engaged on July 4 while vacationing in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, to celebrate the eighth anniversary of the day they met. The couple met at a July 4th party in 2015 and started dating soon after; they now live together in Los Angeles.

The Proposal

The director, best known for his work on the Underworld film series, proposed to Franco at their favorite local restaurant, Arbol at Las Ventanas. Franco shared that after the proposal, she and Wiseman enjoyed a romantic candlelit swim. However, the evening had a minor hiccup when her engagement ring slipped off in the pool. Wearing goggles, the duo embarked on a mission to search the pool's depths for her missing sparkler, which was fortunately found, adding an unexpected twist to their night.

What is Len Wiseman Working on Currently?

Wiseman has several exciting projects in the works, including a collaboration with actress Ana de Armas for the highly anticipated John Wick spinoff film, Ballerina. Additionally, he is actively involved in producing upcoming television series adaptations of Sin City and Underworld. His directing career began working on music videos for notable artists such as Megadeth, Quarashi, and Rufus Wainwright. This paved the way for his directorial debut with the 2003 film Underworld.
