Although they have both previously been married and have voiced doubts about ever wanting to be wed again, it’s now official: Zoë Kravitz and Channing Tatum are now engaged after two years of dating. On the Saturday night before Halloween, the 34-year-old High Fidelity star and her 43-year-old Magic Mike actor partner were spotted leaving a Halloween party hosted by Kendall Jenner at the famed Chateau Marmont in West Hollywood. Kravitz was dressed in costume as Mia Farrow's character Rosemary Woodhouse from the 1968 horror film Rosemary's Baby, and Tatum as the baby. In photos taken of the couple leaving the party, Kravitz was holding a fake prop chef's knife in her left hand, drawing attention to her engagement ring on full display. Both are known to prefer privacy, so it comes as no surprise that neither of the celebrities has directly made an engagement announcement. Ever since photos of the duo riding a bicycle together in August 2021 went viral, Kravitz and Tatum have remained silent about their relationship.
They initially crossed paths when Kravitz was in the process of casting for her directorial debut, Pussy Island. Tatum disclosed that he will be playing the role of a character called Slater King in the film, and, while remaining discreet about the plot details, he hinted that this character stands in stark contrast to any of his prior on-screen roles.
Both Tatum and Kravitz have previous marriages. Kravitz married her former longtime boyfriend, actor Karl Glusman, in 2019, but their marriage ended with a divorce filing 18 months later. Tatum and actress Jenna Dewan, who initially met during the filming of Step Up in 2006, went through a highly publicized and emotionally challenging divorce. They announced their separation in 2018 after nine years of marriage and share a 10-year-old daughter, Everly.
The diamond specialists at Steven Stone, an English diamond company, have estimated Zoë Kravitz's striking diamond engagement ring to be valued at approximately $300,000. According to Stephen Stone's experts, the ring features a 7-carat elongated cushion-cut diamond solitaire in an 18k yellow and blackened white gold bezel setting. A bezel setting secures the gem in position with a continuous, sleek metal rim. Zack Stone, the diamond expert at Steven Stone, noted that given Zoë Kravitz's status as a fashion icon with a fondness for diamond jewelry, the breathtaking engagement ring from Channing Tatum comes as no surprise and perfectly complements Zoë's distinctive style. In contrast to Stephen Stone's assessment, Neil Dutta, the managing director of Angelic Diamonds, estimates the elongated cushion-cut diamond at five carats. Dutta explained that the cushion-cut diamond style aligns with the burgeoning vintage fashion and jewelry trend, which is anticipated to further rise in popularity in 2024. The cushion cut, regarded as an antique style with a unique aesthetic, is thought to symbolize individuality, romance, adventure, and tradition.
