Director Greta Gerwig was joined by Margot Robbie, Ryan Gosling, and the cast of Barbie in Los Angeles on July 9 to promote the highly anticipated film. Set to premiere in theaters nationwide on July 21, Barbie tells the story of the iconic Mattel doll's adventure as she navigates her passage from Barbieland to the real world. The movie premiere’s star-studded pink carpet was chock full of fun and vibrant Barbiecore-inspired ensembles ranging from pastel to bright pink and nearly blinding amounts of bling! Margot Robbie

Although she’s been seen wearing "Barbie-pink" at recent Barbie events, Margot Robbie made a striking entrance to the movie premiere wearing an elegant black sequin dress with matching gloves, identical to the 1960s Barbie’s Solo in the Spotlight ensemble. However, the most eye-catching part of her outfit, by far, was her layered diamond necklaces, coordinated with matching diamond stud earrings from renowned high-end jeweler Lorraine Schwartz.

Greta Gerwig

The film’s director, Greta Gerwig, was decked out from head to toe in the hot pink hue associated with the iconic doll and often referred to as "Valentino pink" in the fashion world. Gerwig accessorized her bright bubble gum pink outfit with a Valentino baguette bag of the same hue and glistening diamond chandelier earrings.

Issa Rae

The actress who plays President Barbie in the movie wore a floor-length hot pink gown with diamond drop earrings featuring an amethyst accent at the top and bottom of each piece. She also wore multiple diamond rings and a classic diamond tennis bracelet.

Hari Nef

The actress who plays Doctor Barbie in the movie wore a Tiffany and Co. diamond necklace and earrings to accessorize her glamorous black sequin gown. The jewelry Nef wore is part of the brand’s Victoria line, which features jewelry designed to emulate flower and vine patterns.

Dua Lipa

Singer Dua Lipa, who plays Mermaid Barbie in the movie and whose song Dance the Night is featured on the upcoming soundtrack for the film, wore a sheer silver mesh Bottega Veneta gown that left little to the imagination. To complement her revealing outfit, Lipa, a Tiffany and Co. ambassador, wore the brand’s lock-style earrings coated with pavé diamonds and a graduated diamond tennis necklace.

Alexandra Shipp

The glamorous double diamond hoop earrings the actress wore had a slightly edgy vibe and coordinated seamlessly with her overall look.

Ashley Graham

Model Ashley Graham wore a sheer black polka-dot evening gown and an impressive display of multiple pairs of earrings. One pair featured 76.17 carats worth of pear-shaped pink sapphires and 5.89 carats of diamonds set in 18k white gold. Another pair boasted 1.63 carats of diamonds set in 18k white gold. She also wore hoops featuring 2.11 carats of pastel pink sapphires set in 18k rose gold and a diamond hoop in 18k white gold.

Nicki Minaj 

​Barbie enthusiast Nicki Minaj arrived at the premiere wearing shimmering diamond earrings while proudly displaying her magnificent diamond engagement ring among other rings. Minaj contributed a song to the movie soundtrack titled Barbie World, a collaboration with her fellow rapper, Ice Spice, which samples Aqua's 1997 hit single, Barbie Girl.

​The Flash actress wore a pair of classic yet exquisite pear-shaped diamond drop earrings to the Barbie premiere.

Ava Max

​The Not Your Barbie Girl singer Ava Max, who contributed a track to the Barbie soundtrack titled Choose Your Fighter, wore a diamond necklace with an ample-sized pear-shaped diamond drop pendant to match her sparkly faux diamond sunglasses at the premiere.

Karol G.

​Colombian singer Karol G., whose song Watiti is on the Barbie film soundtrack, collaborated with musician Aldo Ranks on her featured track. Decked out in a strappy, bare-backed bejeweled pink halter top and matching floor-length pink and white swirled skirt, the singer accessorized her bright outfit with substantial chandelier earrings featuring a pattern of circles made from white gold, pink sapphires, and diamonds.

​With her WWE women’s tag-team champion belt in tow, wrestling star Liv Morgan wore round diamond stud earrings, a sparkly diamond bracelet, and a necklace featuring a bevy of heart charms coated in pavé diamonds to the Barbie Premiere.
