After rekindling their romance, magician Criss Angel proposed to his ex-wife, Shaunyl Benson, for the second time. The Australian singer-songwriter shared her excitement over their engagement by posting a video on Instagram, where she can be seen showing joy and surprise as the renowned illusionist proposed with a stunning engagement ring, asking her to remarry him. The magician, best known for his Mindfreak reality television series on A&E, put the ring on his fiancée’s finger, and they shared a tender kiss while she held his face affectionately.

In the video clip, Benson, age 33, overcome with emotion, covered her face while welling up with tears as Angel expressed his heartfelt words. To keep his speech private, the cover of Shania Twain's "You're Still the One," performed by musician Will Gittens, is played over the audio. Angel, aged 55, posted a slightly different version of the proposal video on social media, setting it to the song "There is a Light That Never Goes Out" by The Smiths. 

The Couple’s Past and Current Life Together

The pair discreetly married shortly before Valentine's Day in February 2015, following three years of dating. Subsequently, they went through a divorce the year after but eventually reconciled. The couple has three children together: sons Johnny, 9, and Xristos Yanni, 4, as well as daughter Illusia, 2.
