Actor Rufus Sewell is Engaged to Actress Vivian Benitez—See Her Stunning Ring!

British actor Rufus Sewell, age 56, recently became engaged to actress Vivian Benitez, age 26. Benitez revealed the news with an Instagram post, sharing an image featuring her engagement ring-clad hand resting on her herringbone jacket and another snapshot showing Sewell kissing her on the cheek as she proudly displayed her bejeweled hand in front of The Holiday actor's face. The duo has mostly kept their relationship out of the public eye, except for occasional appearances together on the red carpet. Benitez notably stood by Sewell's side at the New York City premiere of his Netflix series The Diplomat in May 2023 and the film premiere of Old in July 2021. Since the couple, who have been together for at least two years, value their privacy, no details have been shared, but it is presumed that the proposal happened in Italy since Benitez posted a photo of herself in Rome, standing in front of the Trevi Fountain at night on the day before Sewell’s proposal. 

Sewell, who has tied the knot twice before, was initially married to fashion journalist Yasmin Abdallah in 1999, but the marriage ended in divorce after just one year. In 2004, he exchanged vows with producer Amy Gardner, and though they separated in 2006, they share a son named William Douglas, born in 2002. Additionally, Sewell has a 10-year-old daughter, Lola, with hairstylist Ami Komai. Benitez, a former Wilhelmina model scout, has appeared in projects like Arsenal, Criminal Minds, and the short films Sky Dancers Grow Up and Don't Worry, It's Gonna Be OK.
