Star of The Vampire Diaries Michael Trevino is Engaged to Model Bregje Heinen—See Her Oval Engagement Ring!

The Vampire Diaries actor, 38, and his fiancée, Dutch model Bregje Heinen, recently announced their Christmas Eve engagement through a shared Instagram post. In their joint post, they shared four pictures of themselves in Amsterdam by the city's iconic canals. Among the images was a black-and-white photo of Trevino kissing Heinen, 30, on the head, revealing her oval-shaped diamond engagement ring as they held hands.

Trevino's The Vampire Diaries co-stars, including Candice King, Nina Dobrev, and Kayla Ewell, wrote congratulatory messages in the comment section. Additionally, Trevino's former castmates from the Roswell, New Mexico TV series left warm messages to congratulate the couple, including Jeanine Mason and Lily Cowles. On the following day, Heinen posted additional pictures of herself and Trevino, showing moments from their time in Amsterdam. One photo featured three film strips capturing affectionate moments, and another highlighted Heinen's hand next to a cappuccino, revealing her diamond engagement ring. The duo also took a mirror selfie together. Throughout their relationship, Trevino has revealed occasional peeks into their romance. In January 2021, he shared photos of the couple enjoying various outdoor activities such as skiing, ATV riding, and hiking. Most recently, Trevino and Heinen collaborated on a short film titled Jo, set in the Old West. Trevino shared a carousel of photos from the movie shoot in November 2022, showing them in character. For Heinen's birthday in March 2023, she posted a photo capturing a moment of her and Trevino kissing by a cake with candles.
