The 48-year-old reality TV personality recently delighted her Instagram followers with an exciting announcement. Williams surprised her fans by posting a picture of a pear-shaped diamond engagement ring adorning ‘that’ finger, given to her by her fiancé, Christian Gold. Her Instagram post drew warm wishes and congratulations from a host of famous friends and loved ones, among them her fellow Basketball Wives co-stars Brandi Maxwell and Brittish Williams, along with former castmate Shaunie Henderson. Singer Tamar Braxton, who also became engaged this past March, gave a heartfelt congratulations to Williams.
Christian Gold, a 30-year-old investor who describes himself as an "8-Figure Wealth Portfolio Manager" in his Instagram bio, also posted a video featuring himself and Williams as she proudly displays her stunning new engagement ring. Williams and Gold revealed their relationship to the public in June, when she extended birthday wishes to her then-boyfriend on Instagram, sharing a photo of the two having drinks together. The couple have since established a YouTube channel named Life With Jen & CG, where they document their shared adventures and experiences.
Earlier this month, the couple uploaded a video in which they disclosed the story of their first encounter while keeping the exact location and date under wraps, except for mentioning that it was on a rooftop one "Friday in December." Gold said he rounded the corner, and there she was, explaining that he felt an instant attraction to Williams and was drawn to her, compelling him to start a conversation with the reality star. They both confirmed a profound mutual connection without delving into the specifics of their initial conversation. Gold explained that he wasn’t actively seeking a relationship at that point because he felt it wasn't the right time. Gold said that although he was in a position of healing and still is, he noticed Williams sitting there, and he couldn't help but think that it might be something good. The duo began chatting, and Williams said it felt like they were completely focused only on each other, making their connection evident.
This will be Williams' second marriage. She was married to former NBA player Eric Williams for a decade. They did not have children during their marriage and parted ways in 2011.
Although no official description of her striking engagement ring has been released, our Ritani gemologists estimate the pear-shaped diamond to be between 8 and 10 carats. The sizable stone appears to be set in platinum or white gold on a pavé diamond-studded band, accentuating the ample center stone.
